Check out: Emraan and Jacqueline shooting Murder- 2 in Goa
The last instalment of the film Murder set pulses racing with the steamy scenes between the lead pair Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi. Well, the sequel to the film Murder 2 is all set to beat the record with Jacqueline Fernandez (who replaces Mallika) going all out for the film.
Just recently, Jacqueline and Emraan were shooting in Goa for Murder 2, and could not resist shopping from the local flea markets. Apparently every time Mohit Suri would call 'cut', Jacqueline would make a bee line to the nearest market to pick up stuff.

Its also heard dat Murder 2 will also future the story of a serial killer in addition to the already talked about racy scenes between the new leading lady Jacqueline and Emraan. The film which is currently in the post production stages was shot in Goa around the Christmas and New Year, as they are the peak tourism season.
The serial killer in the film whose identity is being carefully guarded is said to be based on some real life facts like the Nithari killings in Noida and the gruesome deaths that happened in Goa not too long ago.
Now this is one thriller to look forward to.

CROOK-STAR TALK...
"Quotes"
Mahesh Bhatt: "CROOK- 'It's good to be bad' both entertains and enlightens the viewer. It takes an unflinching look at the burning issue of racism which has devastated the life of thousands of young Indians, who go to Australia in search of a better life putting not only all their money but even their lives at stake. The film also locks horns with our own inner demons."
Mukesh Bhatt: "Seldom in life do you have the good fortune to hold your head high with pride after watching the first cut of one's own movie. Crook is one such film from our production house which makes one proud. The film manages to do what most films aspire to do but seldom succeed. Mohit Suri has shown the complex truth of Racism in Australia in a very entertaining way."
Mohit Suri: "Ever since pre independence, Indians have always felt racially discriminated by the so-called "superior white race", wherever they lived in the world, even in our own country. However, this has never affected the illegal immigration of our youth into foreign countries. UAE, United Kingdom, USA, Canada and now Australia are just some of the aspirational destinations for our youth, who are unable to face poverty and unemployment in their own country and are lured by the promise of a comfortable lifestyle in these developed countries.
As the news flashed 'over 20 incidents of curry bashing have taken place in Sydney and Melbourne in the past 30 days', I found myself standing outside a 24-hour convenient store in the Sunshine District of Melbourne city in search of a story. Inside the very same store one of the most brutal racist attacks had taken place just a few months back. The events as told to me were horrifying, about how an Indian was brutally beaten up only because of his color and religion. Outraged and humiliated I felt the need to voice this as a filmmaker. However, as I left the store my eyes fell upon an advertisement on the store window, which said "accommodation available for Indian students - for Gujrati boys only".
That advertisement ignited the germ of "Crook". It made me realize that racism and all other social evils are a part of every human heart, irrespective of his class, creed, color or sex. Good and bad, god and evil lie within us. It's our choice to decide is it good to be bad in today's world or does it pay to be good?"
Emraan Hashmi: "Strong characters may carry a weak plot, but weak characters cannot be hidden by strong plot. My character in Crook is one of the best characters we have created in recent times. I am sure my character in Crook will reach into the collective heart and pluck the heartstrings of people of every generation."
Neha Sharma: "I am very happy to make my debut with CROOK. I extend my deepest gratitude to Mukesh Ji and Mahesh Ji, who believed in me and gave me this wonderful opportunity. I liked playing Suhani, my character in the film, as she is very close to the real Neha. It was sheer pleasure working with Mohit as he is a wonderful story teller and ofcourse Emraan Hashmi, who has been such a great co-star.
Arjan Bajwa: "Crook is a very bold attempt on showing the plight and the situation of victims and catalyst in racist situations, well crafted and knitted by the ace director Mohit Suri. I feel honored to have worked with Bhatt Sahab and Mukesh Ji. What I play in the film is a very hot headed aggressive Indian guy living abroad with multiple personalities. It will be quiet a shocker and surprisingly different from what people saw me in Fashion."
CROOK
Crook – It’s Good To Be Bad is an upcoming Hindi thriller film starring Emraan Hashmi and Neha Sharma in lead roles. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film is based on the racial attacks on Indians in Australia. The music has been composed by Pritam which was released on 6 September and the film would be releasing on 8 October, 2010.
t's turning out to be more bad than good for Emraan Hashmi starrerCrook: It's Good To Be Bad. On Wednesday, the cast and crew of the film were forced to return from Australia to India two days before end of schedule. Reason? Australian City Council denied the film any further permission to shoot and despite repeated requests, didn't budge from their stand. While this definitely meant loss of productive days for the team of Crook, it also left a bad taste in the mouth for everyone involved.

Says a senior unit member who accompanied Emraan, Mohit (Suri) and others on their way back home, "It was very disheartening for all of us to come back without completing the shoot of Crook. The idea was to wrap it up all and then come back to India mainly for post production and other patch work, if required. However, we were stopped from shooting which threw a spanner in our plans."
While the reason behind the denial of permission is not yet known, the fact remains that Crook is seeing its fair share of trouble and controversies right through its making.
Since it is a known fact that the film touches upon the topical issue of racial discrimination against India in Australia, one can expect some heated debates around the time when Crook would be ready for release. Also, even as the crew members were aspiring to complete the shoot in record time, an unfortunate accident on the sets a few days back resulted in broken camera equipment and a close shave for Emraan.
When contacted, Emraan Hashmi too sounded disappointed with the turn of events. "Yes, I am back in town. We were thrilled about finishing the shoot of Crook in Australia itself but it is so unfortunate that we couldn't do that", he says.
Adds the unit member, "Well, our worry now is around completing the pending portions of the film now. It has been a straight loss of two days of shooting. Though procuring dates from all involved may not be that tough, we may have to change certain sequences in the film. Reason being that there is no intention of going back to Australia which means that the scenes, which were originally written for that part of the world, may have to go through some changes. Now we would have to hunt for some indoor locations within Mumbai to finish the shoot."
A Bhatt production, Crook marks the debut of Neha Sharma and also stars Arjan Bajwa. With music by Pritam, the film is aiming for a release in September/October timeframe.

Neha Sharma Not Kiss the Indian beauty. Emraan Hashmi won't kiss his co-star Neha Sharma in his next film. The 'privilege' will go to an Australian chick. Mohit Suri's film Crook: It's Good To Be Bad on racial attacks on Indian students in Australia will star four Australian actors, one of them would be a girl that the Indian hero (Emraan Hashmi) will fall in love with in Australia. For her Hindi debut in Mohit Suri's film, Neha will be seen speaking in a smattering of Hindi and English. "And it's not even proper English. It's Australian -English. Neha plays a girl born and brought up in Australia. She plays a student who tries to mend the cultural gap between Indians and Australians."
